As you kiss me and gently touch my face.
Today in the pale yellow glow of the morning sunshine
I shall walk feet naked on the pale gold warm beach sand
Against the blue and white of the waves crashing
I see you standing, relaxed and smiling
As you meet and greet people, waiting for me
My hair pulled back and seemingly held in place
With pale white fragrant flowers
Their beauty simply framing the smile on my face
My dress has caught the West Wind’s fancy
So it flirts and tries tries to get the skirt to run away with it
Something Old, Something New,
Something Borrowed, Something Blue
A Wedding March starts and the guests rise on cue
I am nervous and yet so excited
As I begin to walk toward you
Today as the wind dusts the ocean spray gently apon us
We stand holding hands while making a promise
Love, Fidelity and Honour
In the sunlight, a band now glistens apon your finger
As you kiss me and gently touch my face.
