What do we have if we let others gauge our life?
Our decisions will be ones of nothing but strife.
No one knows us the way we know us to be
Each and everyday is filled with choices you see.
While allowing pessimism to be a focus today
We block the greatness that could come our way.
As clouds of gloom can permeate we can decide
To permit them or select which alternative way we ride.
Good is happening all around us if we search to see
That could be the path we choose or let it be.
