The race for life.
My friends all scattered
A round the town,
For ages in a restless round,
I wonder in the endless streets,
Not knowing all their whereabouts.
.
Dust scattered on the pillowed bed,
The webs are on the corner edge
The rotten leave on the sinful shed,
Glass shattered on the rear ledge
Not knowing of a cleaning head.
.
Sun shining through the darkest nights,
I fail to even realize,
My minds a float a booming kite,
I run to where my feet dost ride…
I have no clue when this will end,
I have no clue for what it’s worth…
I run the race since others run,
I notice not the flowers bright.
.
I seem to fail in unknown paths,
I stand to run an unknown race,
I have no goal, I have no pace,
I do not seem to have a base.
But I run for all its heavens worth,
Please teach me if is worth the pain?
