A poem written by me and my girl along the seashore.

Image via Wikipedia

Showered by the sun and the salt,

and after four days,

Their tail fins emerged

and skin color changed.

Nestled on the island get-away,

they stayed quietly enjoying

their underwater home,

Where they talked to the whales

and bathed in sea foam.

Singing the song of summer’s delights,

warm and relaxed into the night.

Where the moon showed her face

and shooting stars smiled

to take flight

In another world full of grace,

in the dimension worth seeking-

where spawning leads to birth

in a parallel universe.

Showered by the aurora lights

and love

four nights.

The words are very pretty but I’m not quite sure what you are trying to say to me. What should I take away from this poem?
