Sometimes in my writing I compare my life to that of characters inside a fairy-tale story, and this is my story of Snow White.

The moon is waxing
My mind is relaxing
Preparing for tomorrow
Is taking away my sorrow
In this phase, the moon is increasing in size
Giving me what is supposed to be a surprise
I feel with my heart and I just know
My one true love is coming to the show
Snow White cleans for the seven dwarfs to earn her keep
The wicked witch wants this young girl to fall forever into a deep sleep
A potion of poison has been injected into the skin of a single, red apple
Her desire to be the fairest of all caused her to act cruel
Who was the fairest of all according to the magic mirror? It was Snow White
Disquised as a beauty, the dark witch tricked the young girl into taking a bite
The beautiful woman let out an evil cackle and turned to leave
As she turned back into herself, she was the fairest of all…so she wanted to believe
The seven dwarfs sobbed over Snow White’s lifeless body for she had been so kind
They took her to the forest and laid her upon a bed of rose petals under the grape vine
Then one day soon after, a prince arrived on the back of his noble horse
He dismounted from his brown and white paint as he felt deep remorse
His sorrow for the young, innocent girl burns inside of him this magical feeling
He must kiss the girl on her lips giving her his love so she can start healing
Their lips connect and her eyes open; He sweeps her into his arms starting a new endeavor
Their half-hearts connect for Fate destined these two to stay happily in love forever
I am the young, innocent girl who is so kind and the fairest of all
Stone walls built tall to show no sign of caring is the poison that made me fall
The wicked witch lives inside all evil intentions that are cast in a shower
This shower of poison makes my body dormant for a day displaying the evil power
The seven dwarfs who sob for me are my seven best friends
The Forest of Forever is where I now lay on my rose petal bed
The vine of grapes symbolize all the good things that will arrive
Faham is my prince who feels the burning feeling of magic come alive
Tomorrow, my prince will kiss my lips rescuing me from my everlasting sleep
We will gallop into the sunshine living up our secret passion for life that runs so deep
Tonight the moon is waxing as it increases in size and we wait for tomorrow
When Faham comes to me on this day, we will never again think thoughts of sorrow
