The loss of a child or young person.
Time stands still
or so we thought
a safe, secure world
in which we were caught
but we grew older
and time became unsure
now we protect our children
and hope they are secure
a whisper of wind
and life falling short
an unknown attacker
that no one can thwart
They are too young
to suffer such agony
she laid down to rest
Her Mother realized the tragedy
A Daughter,a Sister,a Friend
and A love one
drifted off as she slept
that’s her The End
I believe Angels wept
as they held her so tight
if this is God’s will
His will isn’t right
The see through loved ones
the chill in thier hearts
She was Too Young
to have to part
The pain is not ours
the emptiness unknown
She was a child
yet fully grown
Too Young to leave
in such an unimagined way
Please watch over the others
Keep them here I pray
Gone but not forgotten
keep her in your thoughts
memories,secrets
and that childhood hiding spot
lay her to rest
as this is what you have to do
It does not get easier
I know this is true
Too Young
to be taken
too young to be gone
Too young to have left them
Her presence will be absent
