The campfire children drawing ragged breaths,

looked up toward the landing,

hoping to avoid death,

as the Grizzly was standing,

tall, and commanding,

as he saw terror and vulnerability

in their eyes,

through the air God heard the children’s cries,

then out of nowhere,

the Grizzly drifted backwards,

the children felt the fear,

but it didn’t last too much longer,

a white winged angel floated by,

graced the sky,

and the Grizzly was out of sight,

long gone,

the attack, the danger, the bear simply took flight.
