Clouds of confusion gather to confound

Skies slowly sink into premature darkness

Minds searching for the truly profound

Reaching for answers you could never guess

Brightness flashes lightning fast

Illuminating my minds eye in the process

A thunderous peal of inertia screams past

Hands begin to move as I start to confess

At first slowly, one drop at a time

Then a downpour too large to suppress

Linking together in a clever rhyme

Torrentially releasing all I possess

Unable to stop this page becomes flooded

Thunder and lightning lacking finesse

Inundated with thoughts that seems studded

Overflowing with naught but excess

Rays of light peak through dark clouds

Soothing my worries in its warm caress

Clearness of thought removing this shroud

Replaced by a rainbow of sweet success
