When your spirit is lifted.

His face is slightly
Wrinkled at the corners
Where she stopped reading

That page is just a little stained
When it almost burnt her tongue
And the drip fell
Next to me

He was in his thinking mood again
His hand rested
On his chin

My gaze drifted to the night sky
My thoughts to another place
And time

I could feel the quiet
The cool placid
The intoxicating
Breeze

It fed my soul
It touched my heart

And, my spirit softly
Lifted
And, my heart gently
Soared

It is so natural. So easy, so free, Liane. It’s beautiful. I can tell that came from your soul. Thank you so much for writing it and sharing it here. :)

    Much Love and Admiration,
