and does a three step drop

While the offensive line

creates a shield,

the quarterback spots a receiver

50 yards down the field

He cocks his arm back

then launches the ball

The crowd holds their breath,

as the quarterback gets hit and falls

The ball is sailing through the air

The receiver jumps with all his might

He clutches the ball

in mid-flight

He then pulls the ball to his chest

He’s hugging it near his colar bone

When he lands

both feet are in the end zone

The home crowd goes wild

The losing team hangs their heads

and walks off the field

because their season is dead
