After buying Daisy a cone, I towed her on my bike to her home and it turned out to be a thrilling experience.

Daisy, don’t leave me alone

Let me buy you a cone

I know you like berries

Especially strawberries

- – -

Let me bring you home

It’s time to pass by Tom’s dome

The one he built

Out of Styrofoam

- – -

Daisy, let me tow you on my bike

It’s better than taking a hike

You see, I don’t have a car

To bring you places afar

- – -

Please sit still on the handle

Because I feel I’ll tremble

For I don’t want you to fall

And cause quite a brawl

- – -

Feel the breeze as it rushes by

Before we say goodbye

For this experience has been

Something we’ve never seen

- – -

Hey this is so nice I like the rhyming..perhaps it would also be nice if poets could include a small description of their poetry below…it would help us readers to get a deeper understanding and also be appreciative. thanks

Charming! I love it. It also reminds me of an old song my mother sang to myself and my sisters many years ago, and which I sang to my daughters (which includes someone called Daisy and a bike)….”Daisy, daisy – give me your answer do…” (the start of it). Thanks Erwin. You gave me lots of nice memories as well as a very enjoyable poem to read. :-)
