Nine people died including three women and two were injured in a traffic accident near Bannu.

The reason of accident is assumed to be uneven and broken road.
The accident took place at Landi Jalandar near Bannu when a passenger bus ran into a truck coming from opposite side which resulted in 9 deaths at the spot including 3 women and 2 persons were seriously injured.
The dead bodies are yet to be identified
Wounded persons have been shifted to the District Headquarter Hospital for medical treatment.
Police says broken road is the reason of the accident. Further investigations are underway.
