My experience traveling on a train in Australia.
Silver train with yellow streak pulls into city station,
enter as doors open and see a row of lights above,
passengers seated in dispersed array,
allowing themselves a private space.
Train pulls out of city north bound with thrust,
see eyes darting to both sides of carriage,
take in a view that passes in seconds,
careful not to catch eye contact with strangers,
Train travels and one can see bridges and homeless people,
looking to and fro passengers jostle with bags,
catch a glimpse of the many fellow passengers,
eyes meet and ponder see body language signs till ride ends.
