Shallow Poem.

I walk down the street, but I’m stopped dead in my tracks by beauty,
Looking deep inside her eyes and she responds in kind.
Well, sort of.
My seductive look is met with a stare that would be described as blank at best
Why are the pretty ones always so dumb?
My eyes hopefully don’t reveal that I wouldn’t care for a relationship,
But free unbridled sex, no terms and conditions, no restraints
But she looks back at me, empty look
Maybe… Maybe it’s because she can see right through me.
