A Poem about Anger, Pain, Love and Hurt.
Imprisoned by a broken algorithm of rapid paced thoughts
Transgressing through the tendrils of one’s mind
Break the vows of a false understanding and renew the forced solitude
Break free from the tears caused by others
And just keep with the ones you began with
Why dehydrate an already broken heart
In which no adhesive can hold together
Not even that jester of all glues “Love”
Or whatever that may mean
Powerful a word though
It can hold one against the will of their own mind
All because the pumping rhythm of its warmth distracts your logic
And as your blood flows for that split minute your happy
BOOM! Within the quarter of that second it turns on you
Mocking you every breath every bickering moment
Not to mention your hopeful filled optimism
Volunteered you for this meaningless torture
And out of the vines grows a number of apologies that never bloom
But wilt and like a good dreamer you wait for the next warm season
Where again hopefully it will bloom
You, add more water, give it more sunlight
And like a good dreamer you wait
And you wait
And you water
And you shed sunlight
Just to be hit with the fact that it’s fruitless
That’s it
Now in disbelief you sit there and deal with what you feel is your mess
Feeling like it’s more an effort to plant a new seed
So sit there in your lifeless garden
And waist your only resources on a dream that will never become.
