Treats is a poem that I wrote one day after eating a selection of sweets and treats that I enjoyed very, very much.

Treats

Really, really creamy and ever so sickly sweet, a really nice nibble, a really nice treat, tantalising and scrumptious the chocolate was so good, the tasty little chocolate tasted just as though it should.

Finally a piece of fruit so as to balance the sugary sweets, though the fruit was technically fruit it was also a treat, the fruit was lush and firm and tasted so very good, the chocolate that covered it tasted so very, very good.

Then once again it was the turn of another little creamy chocolate treat, into the mouth it went the scrumptious tasty little sweet, down in to the belly where the others it would shortly meet.

Gobbling and munching soon they all were gone, it had not a taken a long time before they all were eaten, it wasn’t at all very long long.

Then it was that all of the tasty treats and sweets were finished as the wrapper’s were now in the bin, were the little treats a good thing or were they a little sin.
