tree cleared of ivy

able again to feel sun

bird sits on new branch

    Does Ivy have the ability to kill a tree. i know vines can be bad for other flowers, but is this also true for trees.

    A well-crafted haiku, indeed. Your work here is probably better than any haiku that I’ve written, for I haven’t written many. I tend to focus on ballad-type poems and I like tinkering with stanza forms from the older poets.

    People tend to forget that poetry should be meaningful, so I am very grateful to you that I came across this. This is the perfect example (aside from the missing punctuation) of how haiku should be representative of the grand or tiny connections between nature and our human nature.
