A poem about finding love through trial and error in addition to some lessons learned along the way.
Still barely learning the hard way,
Learning love through trial and error.
Reflective insecurities show,
that I am less than the man in the mirror.
The only thing we had in common,
Was that "fear of being lonely" factor.
But the moment you filled your time,
It seemed that I no longer mattered.
But the worst of it all is that,
I cannot keep a marriage together,
I am an expert at tearing one apart,
Because of me, nothing last forever…
Dear next heart, willing to take a chance,
Heed my warning and proceed if you may.
Be advised that I can make you cum,
But I will not be able to make you stay.
I have poured out my heart until emptied,
I have nude my soul to the core.
I have done so much, while you so little,
Yet you still ask me for more.
I am vulgar but can speak so politely,
My words can cut deeper than trenches,
And I know where to aim the knife,
At your heart off by a few inches.
But through out all of my lessons learned,
The base is that I am my hearts bearer.
Though this too much like all others,
I have learned through trial and error.
