Two Corinthians 4:8-9 "We are pressed in every way, but not cramped beyond movement; we are perplexed, but not absolutely with no way out; nine we are persecuted, but not left in the lurch; we are thrown down, but not destroyed."
Like life’s peaks and valleys
Hard times ebb and flow
What is important is what is afterward left;
What have we to show
Once we have weathered the storm
What a man does when the tide is high
Isn’t what he does when the tide is low
A person may learn great things he
Or she didn’t already know
Were it not for the pitfalls and so
When life is a struggle and all looks dark
Remember that all things must one day end
and
That which pains us in the now in its own due time
Will one day help us to grow
