A tribute to my father on this special day; Father’s day. I really miss the childhood moments together with him. He has been so much to me and many others to. Happy Father’s Day to you and all fathers and potential fathers all over the world.
I love you dad
You have been a great father to me
Not just me but many others as well
At a very tender age
I really felt you warm love
I felt the presence of a ‘father’
It made my childhood better
Early in the morning, I saw your face
Right beside my bed
Checking if I was up and well
Couldn’t forget your bedtime story
That was last night
Seeing your face that early
It looked to me lie the bright morning sun
Sign of a wonderful day
You raised me up
Lifted and put me on your shoulder
Walking around the house
I was so happy and excited
Leaving home, you gave me a father’s kiss; Refreshing
At age 6, I would not like to go to bed without seeing you at night
I love you dad
I miss those moments together
I am now old and a potential father
Your fatherhood values, love, care etc will be of great help to me raising my own children
That will mean a wonderful family and better world
I love you dad
