There must be a better way to get your work published and get decent payment for it.

December I noticed that AdSense profits had started to increase, things started looking a little better.   At the end of the month I made $3.14, by the beginning of January, Triond had removed my payment for $3.14, so I  sent an email to Triond asking what had happened, no response and the payment was never returned, but they continue to advertise on my work.  I asked them to please stop advertising but they just ignored me.  AdSense  is a lure, some people they pay well and others they give them what they feel their entitled to, in my case that would be nothing.  If it weren’t for the writers there would be no Triond, is this the way they show their gratitude or is this just a lack of respect.

AdSense is a fraud.

First you build us up

and then take back the rewards.

Triond doesn’t respect the writers.

They’re only interested in the money

they make from us, that’s their only desire.

Many have been stripped of their dignity.

Triond shows gratitude by paying us only pennies.

These few cents, make no sense.

In any event it won’t help pay the rent.

They set-up AdSense you profits start to increase.

Then after 2 months no more money they release.

They don’t stop plastering the advertisement

in your work.

Today I realize, I’ve been used and

taken advantage of, I feel like a complete jerk.

My Adsense has stayed on zero. So I don\’t feel so bad now.

The only one to make any money out of Triond is Triond!

I didn’t experience this. Things appear to be fine with me. I also get answers whenever I have queries through the Get Satisfaction service.
Anyhow, I wish they’ll fix your problem soon.

  • clay hurtubise on Jan 6, 2010

Sounds like a good reason to remove it. My latest pic got a couple hundred hits, but didn’t earn me a penny.
    Good piece.
    Thanks,
    Clay

I have also had no problems with Triond or Adsense. I have received prompt answers to any questions I have had. I don’t really even bother with Adsense anymore because they pay even less than Triond, in my opionion. As for the pennies for advertisements, If you are looking for more of the advertisers revenue then you should probably buy your own domain and post your writings on your own web page. If you search for advertising prices, you will find that most are sold at a thousand page impressions for a couple bucks. I have made 1 dollar with Triond in my first month and am fine with it. I only wrote 10 articles and Triond took care of the website posting and also generated some traffic. I write for the enjoyment and any money I make is icing on the cake. In conclusion I would have to disagree with the opinion that Triond is unfair to its users.

Sorry to hear that you didn’t get the answers you wanted. I do not have Adsense so I am not aware of what is going on with it. I hope you get the money you deserve.

  • Daisy Peasblossom on Jan 6, 2010

I had been noticing the zeroes.

  • Zappy on Jan 6, 2010

I’d rather eat pound cake with no icing and get paid, I use to enjoy writing until I realized a penny a month glorifies the Third World slump.

  • Mike1229 on Jan 6, 2010

pretty much the same thing happened to me. it took a while to sort out. I opted out of adsense in the end. It isn’t what it says.

  • qasimdharamsy on Jan 7, 2010

    I didn’t experience this…

  • Joie Schmidt on Jan 7, 2010

I’m sorry for your experience, but realize that Google Ads only pay when someone clicks on an ad. My earnings have almost tripled since I’ve been using Adsense and I’ve been writing for Triond since 2007 and they have always paid me on time. Every company has made mistakes, but I know Triond is a solid good company.

    Blessings.

    Sincerely,

    -Liane Schmidt.

  • Videomark on Jan 7, 2010

I noticed that my adsense revenue was no longer being recorded on my dashboard, but it is being recorded when I log in to my adsense account. As long as I get clicks I will still use adsense. My Triond/Adsense revenue is running about 50/50.

  • diamondpoet on Jan 7, 2010

Good morning everyone, and to those of you who are fortunate enough not to have had this experience. Good morning, I actually have a job, I work for an attorney, since middle of October I have had over 260 articles published, I made $12.00 I don\\\’t think that I was in this for the money, if so I would be standing on the street corner with a cup hoping someone would give me enough so that I could eat. I am glad you have not experienced any problems, please understand this I didn\\\’t ask for adsense it was offered to me and I was told that it would increase my earnings. I have worked hard plugging away on this computer, business is business and if you tell me something I expect you to honor what you say. As for me starting my on site or whatever, I intend to do something, but first I will download all of my work from this site and delete everything, no one get glory out of my work but me. How would you like it if you boss didn\\\’t pay you for a weeks work and gave you no explanation. It seems to me it\\\’s always those people that don\\\’t experience the actual event never realize this is the beginning of a far more greater problem to come in the future. I just wish I could be there to say I told you so.

  • BeatsMe on Jan 7, 2010

Hi Diamondpoet, maybe you didn\’t get the payment in AdSense because you didn\’t have an account with them. I think Triond will not be the one to pay your AdSense earnings, it\’ll be Google. If you don\’t have an account with AdSense, you won\’t be paid with the money you earn here. That is so far, my understanding of it. If you have an account with AdSense, you might want to create a separate channel for your AdSense in Triond to be able to see your earnings here.

    Hope this helps. Good luck.

  • fishfry aka Elizabeth Figueroa on Jan 8, 2010

I have had a lot of problems with adsense, but I think it h as to do with my own inexperience. I know I rec’d a payment but it was not what I expected.
Thanx for the information, give me something to look into!

  • lillyrose on Jan 8, 2010

I cancelled my adsence because it was making no money and my triond earnings seemed to have slumped too. I am sorry you feel so used but I hope you will continue to get pleasure from your poems xxx

Sorry to hear about the Adsense problem. You can\’t have a consistent earning using Adsense. Sometimes less sometimes more. I hope things turns out brighter soon.

  • magicdarts on Jan 12, 2010

hope this works out in the end for you and Triond get back to you, doesn’t sound very promising – mines only reached $0.28 so far so I’m not to phased :)

  • Ruby Hawk on Jan 13, 2010

Sorry you have a bad experience but stick with it and don’t be discouraged, things will get better for you, I feel sure.

  • drelayaraja on Jan 13, 2010

Rightly said friend. adsense is of no sense at all.
    Same experience for me too……..

  • drelayaraja on Jan 13, 2010

    I share your experience friend.

    Adsense is of no sense.

  • Jane Jane on Jan 13, 2010

I haven’t received any payment and I just hope I’ll be able to receive it.

  • deep blue on Jan 14, 2010

I could only hope for the best. Take it on the positive side, I’m not eligible for adsense so i didn’t bother. I could feel your emotions but life is always a gamble. We often get into things without considering the strings attached. Now those strings may have been link at our profits and every now and then they fish it out.

  • Sweety on Jan 15, 2010

I have no adsense and I am looking on Triond to get paid for my work. I love to post work on Triond with graphic images. Not for money.

  • Miguel Aviles author of The Zerkian Chronicles on Jan 21, 2010

Hey I feel ya, thanks for checking my latest and good luck getting yours. It is terrible to have to work so hard for pennies. And all you people out there who says writing’s easy, it’s not. Have you tried to write a novel? Or even an essay? It’s difficult to do consistently but we writers do it.

  • Alicia Wind on Jan 27, 2010

awww…hope they will fix it soon.

  • fishfry aka Elizabeth Figueroa on Jan 28, 2010

I was removed from adsense, by the company. Perhaps someday they will get this figured out. Now they have this new referral system.?????????

  • A. Fool on Feb 2, 2010

Triond has always been a rip off. It stays up because certain ‘pet’ posters can get 1k hits a day, make a couple of hundred bucks and rope in the suckers.

If you look at ‘hot content’ you’ll find the same names over and again, and you’ll wonder…cause what is there is not that great.

The reason certain loyal posters, (mindless zombies) make so much is the same way a shill carries his second; after all, if Beanbag can make $400 a month…well you can too…right?

Not unless you are elevated to ‘Pet’.

Triond stays in business by having thousands of people post their stuff, and sells the space to advertisers. They take 50% of the revenue, and you, the writer are ’supposed’ to get the other 50%.

How do you know how much you’ve made? You have to trust Triond.

You don’t know if a post got 10 hits or 100 hits…Triond tells you how many you got.

    Trust Triond.

    You see where I’m going…right?

  • irenen1 on Apr 26, 2010

Adsense earnings will only show up in your adsense account. Earnings from all other avenues show up in your Triond account.

Relevant topics can earn you 1 cent/4 views.
Fiction and poetry earn like 1 cent/20-50 views.

Ad sites pay based on cents/thousand views. In adition they pay higher on actual clicks on ads. You cannot click ads on your own Adsense pages. This violates their TOS.

More Triond revenue is earned by increasing views to your links and by viewers actually viewing ads.

    Get it?
