An open letter to Triond about the who, what, why, when, where and how!

Dear Triond!
Who is going to listen
to the complaints of the masses?
Not through rose tinted glasses,
but with clarity of thought
to the problems that have been brought

Dear Triond!
What are you doing to do
about all the problems and that?
Pull out the answers from a magicians hat?
Hope for the best?
And disregard the rest?

There are many different ways
to solve a problem of this kind.
The path to success is not easy
best to keep that in mind.
Hard choices need to be made
or we’ll continue to be blind.
Might as well give it a shot
and leave the rest behind.

Dear Triond!
Why lock the barn door
long after the horse has bolted?
And the people have revolted?
Left with broken tears
and unanswered fears.

Dear Triond!
When will you learn
from the errors of the past?
And do what’s needed at last
to start the revolution?
That ends with the solution

The problems are apparent
we all know what’s at stake.
The future has to be brighter
for everyone’s sake
From the issues of the past
we certainly need a break.
So let’s look ahead now and
let’s see what we can make.

Dear Triond!
Where are you going?
Papering over the cracks?
Might as well swing the axe,
right down to the ground
And see what is found

Dear Triond!
How will it end?
Is the answer in plain light,
not out of sight?
But staring us in the face
to make a better place?

Better than nuking China perhaps. Well said.

It’s not just that Paul, it goes much wider than that. Is it ignorance, stupidity, inability or naivety, or something else. There’s so much wrong and possible solutions are obvious, but they lead to other issues and it all gets mixed up until it becomes fudged and back to square one.

Air your complaints, suggestions and compliments (-had to throw that tosser in there) at:

    http://getsatisfaction.com/triond/topics

Lets get the spam, the spammers and the low quality content out of here.

Totally right with Stickman. Yeah, this place has become messed up with the truly low quality, plagerism, and spam. I delete several comments on my work each day that are blatant spam that have nothing to do with the article. I’m with you though Alistair. How do you fix all this NOW? Should have done it in the beginning.

  • Alistair Briggs on Jul 27, 2011

Should’ve been done in the beginning, quite right Annie, but Triond have never been renowned for forethought. lol As to a fix? Plenty of possible solutions I think. :)

  • Marie Milton on Jul 27, 2011

Wow! You do good poetry, Alistair, I\’ll give you that! lol. Pretty damn good imho! I\’m wondering if Triond will actually respond to any of our attempts to get their attention about this. It is so weird!

if i had a third thumb i’d probably hold it up for this poem as well.

very well written, engaging and well paced.

i hope it gets the desired reaction from triond

Broken tears and unanswered fears? Is it really as bad as all that? ;) Well crafted poem, it would be wonderful if Triond could fix all that is wrong with the site, but I am not holding my breath.

Broken tears and unanswered fears? Is it really as bad as all that?

Maybe it is a slight exaggeration, but one look at Get Satisfaction would prove it isn’t a baseless assessment. lol

    You’re smart and interesting.

  • Paul Roberts on Jul 28, 2011

This site was, at one time, an interesting starting point. I have seen and followed many here to other sites. I am sure that Triond will see the note, action however, may be slow. Hold the line and pass the candle.

  • AdidasVanilla on Jul 28, 2011

Triond will be the subject of many a poem.
