From time to time when I ponder,

I ask did I blunder, and I can’t help but to wonder,

Did I take the road others have not?

Surely I have gone down those that others have forgot!

And has that made any difference?

I snap back in an instant,

And I remind myself that I have gone quite the distance,

For instance, every action I choose to take makes all the difference!

Though a lot further I must go,

Sometimes it’s like walking through the thickest and deepest snow,

But I know it’s just till I reach my goal.

One day I will look back on the trodden flurry,

And I will no longer worry,

But still I will know,

That my journey has not come without its toll,

But that fee I’ll be willing to pay,

So I can enjoy that most momentous day.
