A Haiku about Tropical Depression 16 in Miami and the neighboring cities.

A tropical storm warning and flood watch has been issued for Southeast Florida due to Tropical Depression 16. It’s pouring hard out there, yet we still had to go to school and work. Yuck! Here are three Haikus with the same theme that expresses the experience of Tropical Depression 16. Enjoy!

Morning showers pour
No sign of staying indoors
Water everywhere

Still out and about
With a watchful eye we wait
Flooding has begun

Raining all the time
Enduring the messy soak
Will we get out fine

Nice haiku. I love the sound of the rain when I’m in the house. Although I know I won’t melt, I really would rather stay in when it’s pouring.
