Two hearts beat
To the rise and fall of time
As whispering warmth combines
And your lips caress mine
And, I’m swept away
To another place
To a sublime new day
Oh! Your arms entwine
And, together
We gently surrender
Fall into love’s breathless crescendo
Dip back as emotions recline
Intoxicated by your touch
It’s sinewy, soft and fine
And, the memory of your sway
Leaves immaculate pathways
Intricately paved divine
And, true love miraculously finds
Two hearts will always
Continue to beat
To the rise and fall of time
