Concerns man’s attraction to a woman far beyond physical appearance.

Sweet chocolate brown complexion, with a smile brighter than city lights,
Eyes with shine kindred to stars on country nights;
So sexy, so smooth, you sooth my soul with the simple sound of your voice.
One look at the dimples in your cheeks, I felt like I had no choice.
Let the peasants rejoice, for there is a true queen among us.
Queen of my spirit, queen of my soul, queen of my heart,
A true queen of many lands-miles apart.
To this queen I ask, may I be your king?
May I be the one to bring you everlasting joy?
I am more than just a boy with foolish dreams and childish schemes.
No matter how it seems, I am a man that can and shall hold your hand through darkest day and your weariest night.
Hand in hand and side by side is the only way we fight.
That’s only proper, that’s only right.
For if we act alone and lose sight we shall perish;
Therefore I won’t cease to cherish even the thought of you,
The one that, through me, God brought love to.
I never knew feelings could be so strong and last so long from one heart to another,
And from the loss of such love, one may never recover.
Recovery is part of a battle that should never be fought if these feelings are brought to the forefront and confronted with the respect it deserves.
All hearts should be sacredly preserved within the breast of the best of loves.
Above all, one should understand that we were born with our hearts in cages.
So as we go on with life and turn the pages hearts must be released in the form of love so they can grow.
Your love came along to let me know…to let the little boy inside die, and turn this old man into a new man.
Because my love for you is what truly makes me human.
