A married couple waiting to check out in the supermarket (This could be you), Queuing can be a pain! You are just about to get into the payzone and the cashier ups and closes her checkout, Finally the bill!

Don’t push, don’t shove, just queue, and take your turn. The hmms and ahhs just come and go at will. The tills are there. Just over to your left. Now move, just move you’re standing on my foot. Oh God! Stop still, they’re closing off our till. Go run, go run, let’s join another one.

Too bad, too bad, that lady’s in your path, push through, push through, and join that other queue. Oh no, oh blow, it’s moving far too slow. There, there, there there, we’re very nearly there! Look now, infront, he’s starting off a row. Calm down, calm down you’re looking fit to blow.

We’re there, we’re there, it’s finally our turn!

“HAVE YOU GOT THE MONEY FOR THE BILL DARLING”?

Heh, heh. Maybe they’ll take a check…I mean cheque.

That is usually the way it goes with me and the wife at the market, except for the pay part, and you know who gets stuck with that chore. Well done.
