I watched her as the tears rolled down her eyes.

It was my fault, I was the one who made her cry.

I’m not sure what the future holds

All I can tell her is that I’ll try

I’ll try to make her dreams come true

I’ll try to make her mine

I can try to make it worth her while

I can try to always make her smile.

Don’t hold it against me, all I said was I can try

He doesn’t understand why these tears are rolling down my eyes

I’m crying because of me, I let this happen

I let him walk into my life

I let myself dream of being his wife

I thought the future was something I could control

I thought I could never fall into this hole.

I saw our home, and our little kids

And then it was gone, all of this.

My world is crashing down on me.

I don’t know where to turn

I don’t know where to go

I can’t make the next move

At least he said that he’ll try…

He can take his time

The decision is not mine

He can figure it out.

                Didn’t he say that he would try?

I keep holding on

And I’ll keep holding on…

                Go ahead and try.
