Tonight, you’re all I see.

I weep
In the corners you once slept
I dream of the days you’d visit me
In my memory
The colors combine
I twist a bit
Let the visions unwind
You unravel before my eyes
A miracle, a gift
A blessing in disguise
I’m lost
Without the warmth of your embrace
Tossed against a sea of shattered hearts
Dashed across the ocean’s raging waves
The clouds roll in heavy and gray
Turn toward the window,
The landscape
Beckons your name
Cajoles sweet reminiscing
Of simple mornings
Of quiet moments
And the comforting scent
Of your perfect tea
Tonight,
You’re all I see
Tomorrow,
Close your eyes
And try, to remember me
