Its hard trying to pretend

Trying to stick to the happiness plan

At times I feel like I can fall

and I’d be caught by the one guy who broke my heart

But its never gonna be

So I must learn to move on and let things be

It hurts knowing we had something good

and just like that you shoved it out your world

tell me did you really care

did you feel the same as me

Cuz I know what I felt was true

But like that one saying said

Love is like sand

if you hold on to it too tight

It might just slip away

& you see I guess that was really my only fault

Maybe I held on to you to tight

That I lost you in a blink of an eye

But like lives motto says

Life must go on

life will have heartbreaks

and sure many tears will fall

But we must choose to let go of things

& that my friend is what I must do

Change my way

& hopefully through out more time

I can let go…
