Poem.

Tsunami

A wall of water

Eighteen foot high

Appeared on the horizon

Like a creature unleashed

It reared and furled

It came

Shaking its white mane

And then

We ran

My mother and

Little brother

Clutching eachother

Hearts pounding

Stumbling and tubling

Through the roar in our ears

We raced the galloping wall

And fell on our faces

In the sand
