There is an unresolved mystery
around the Thanksgiving feast.
There is always some left
as much as was consumed
as many as there were mmmmms
as often as ‘more please’ was heard
there is always some left
Perhaps more perplexing
than nearly infinite supply
from a finite carcass
is the oft heard praise
‘it’s even better the next day”
