Just a fun young hearted girls way of expressing the 12 months of the year. I wrote this one many years ago. I was trying to create a "Happy New Years" card because, that is just what I do. Always finding a new way to express myself whether it be writing, drawing, painting, singing, dancing or just playing around with crafts and sewing. May not be the very best, but hey, it was fun!

There are twelve wonderful months

Year after year.

January is the first so,

“Pop” goes the beer.

February’s the second month

Made for Love and Ground Hogs Day.

March blows in the third month,

Very windy, I’d say.

April showers fall, the fourth month ,

The perfect month for fools.

May is the fifth month, “Hurray”!

The last month of school.

June shines in the sixth month,

When we begin our summer fun.

July heats up our seventh month,

Aiming and squirting water guns.

August is the eighth month,

Summer fun is almost done.

But wait, the year isn’t over yet,

There are 4 months yet to come.

September rings ninth in line,

Time to go back to school.

October Spooks boos in the tenth,

And getting mighty cool.

November gobbles into eleven,

The year is almost gone.

December is our twelveth month,

All filled with Christmas cheer and songs.

Now the year is now over,

Time to start a new

Let’s celebrate a brand new year,

“HAPPY NEW YEAR”, to all of you.
