A poem on twilight on various moods and colors.
Twilight
As I lie on the grass,
I watch the birds pass.
The shining sun rests,
The night slowly sets.
The sky loses its light.
Moon and stars are out for night.
Everything is slowing down,
Satisfaction has taken over the frown.
Another day has almost ended,
What has been done cannot be mended.
After an exhausting day,
Children are back from play.
The orange light is slowly fading,
The fish have finished raiding.
Beautiful is this twitching twilight,
Slowly reducing the sun’s light.
Oh I wish, it could always last,
leaving grudges of the past.
