Daydreaming.

TWINKLE TWINKLE LITTLE STAR

Twinkle twinkle little star

Wonder what I’d do with an evening

Up there where you are.

I could wave at angels on the fly

And yell a shout out to our father

Hey and hi!

And peep in on nervous folks

Drinking whiskey and rye

On a supersonic airplane

As it passes by

And even catch a ride with Zeus

On his trek Across the sky

Good morning guy, to Hercules

I could smile and say

Then catch the tail of a comet

And surf the Milky Way

Id take a left at the big dipper

then awe at the spectacle

Known as the break of day

But it’s just my imagination

Running away you see

As I sit on my front porch

Watching you wink at me

An imaginative poem. I’ve always wanted to fly like superman. This poem makes me feel totally free like a bird.
