Our body need some exercise and so our tongue.

Here are some tongue twisters that can be fun while improving our articulation and speech. Do you remember the good old “Peter Piper picked a peck of….?

Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled pepper.
A peck of pickled pepper Peter Piper picked.
If Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled pepper,
Where is the peck of pickled pepper
Peter Piper picked?

A cup of coffee in a copper coffee pot.

A tall girl named Short Long loved a big Mr. Little. But Little, thinking little of Short, loved a little lass named Long. To be little Long, Short announced she would marry Little before-long.  This caused Little to shortly marry Long.  To make a long story short, did tall Short love big little less because Little loved little Long more?

The fat cat sat on the black mat.

A tooter who tooted a flute
Tried to tutor two tutors to toot.
Said the two to the tutor,
“Is it easier to toot or
to tutor two tutors to toot?”

I thought a thought but the thought I thought wasn’t the thought I thought. I thought if the thought I thought had been the thought I thought, I wouldn’t have thought so much.

Tongue Twisters can really be fun, and remember “A twister a day can also keep gossips away!”

You know, I love tongue twisters. When I was in high school, I memorized many tongue twisters. Until now, we had fun together with my daughter doing tongue twisters.

Well my head is spinning after reading this. It use to be lots of fun when I was a kid. Too old to remember them all. I’ll leave them for all you young folk.

That really tickles my tongue when I twirl my tongue with your tongue twisters! A nice selection that killed me to say it! :)

I loved it! I love tongue twisters. They are so fun and hard to do. I kept trying to practice “A cup of coffee in a copper coffee pot.” and I was having so much trouble with it. LOL!

Fun idea for an article. I imagine that kids would really enjoy these. I’m going to send them to my friend who’s an elementary teacher. :)
