Two lyrical poems about our choices and how we greet the day.
Two Doors of Morning

Greeting day has a choice involved; an approach established only moments after waking. Depending on our mood, life can be lived in several ways and the day that follows generally unfolds with that first decision in mind. How do you wake each day?
Morning 1
By Tony DeLorger © 2011
Alarms blazing, arms flailing,
morning beckons, minds trailing,
melting showers, workday sourers,
blindly shaving, eyes a fading,
clothes a dressing, woe confessing,
illness new, day off ensues,
phone call beckons, sick day reckons,
boss obliges, bed imbibe us,
naked fall to sleep enthral,
alarm is dead, enough is said.
Morning 2
By Tony DeLorger © 2011
Alarms blazing, time a saving,
spring to life, ignoring strife,
quickly workout, shave n make out,
back to bed, indulgence met,
hurried shower, dress and get out,
coffee strong, a cup to take out,
driving frantic, madcap traffic,
day of business, money- itus,
returning home, assume the throne,
wife a waiting, love a making.
