These two haiku are written in response to a poetry challenge by fellow poet PHILLY DREAMER entitled: The Duality of the Samurai.

Strength

Strength it is not mine

Alone I am but a mere

Reflection of Him

Weakness

My weakness allows

Fully the power of Christ

To shine unhindered

Hmmm. I took me some time to understand the message, but I see it. The strength you have is your faith in the power of Christ, but with out him in your life you would be nothing. This is a powerful duality.

Yep, and it takes me willing to admit that I am weak in order for His strength to have a chance to show through me. It’s quite powerful when I actually let this duality work!
