Two peas in a pod –

                         winter and flu –

A time when the virus

                           comes back to renew

Its attack when it’s back,

                             never failing to do

What it must

                               all around,

When the air is charged with

                                 germs that abound.

Inoculation — a weapon

                                   that should counteract

The flu’s aggressiveness is

                                    but a fact;

The fight and the struggle

                                     go on and on

Until winter departs

                                      and the virus is gone.

With allergies showing

                                           their color and hue;

There’s a time for everything;
