Two poems about vanity and life.
VANITY UPON VANITY
Vanity upon Vanity all is Vanity says the preacher
Life is Vanity
Houses are vanity
Cars are vanity
Fat bank accounts are vanity
Wives, husband and wives are vanity
Naked cometh we and naked we shall return.
Vanity upon say the precepts of life
Mortal are born to die
Not one dime to meet our creator with
Albeit what we do in life echoes after us
Dust we are and unto dust we shall return.
Vanity says every day happenings
Today we are here tomorrow we are gone
Just like a flash in the pan
Like the morning dew
That evaporates in the twinkling of an eye
How prepared are we to meet our creator so
Indeed all is vanity.
LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL
Life is beautiful
More beautiful than the captivating beauty flawless lady
Today you win tomorrow you lose
Sometimes you cry sometimes you laugh
Sometimes you hail other times you condemn
Life is indeed beautiful
Life is beautiful
More beautiful than the gems of saa’na
Life is what you call it
If you want to be sad you will
If you want to be happy you will
If you want to be loved you will
What a beauty we have in this life
Life is beautiful
Today we are born tomorrow we are gone
Some are tall and some are short
Some are tall and some are short
Some are fat and some are thin
Some are white and some are black
All leaving together in a single planet
What a captivating beauty life offers.
