These are some very short poems and images made while travelling between the Swedish cities Sundsvall and Gävle by train. I hope they can stand as expressions of how I felt during the trip.
He’s back, just as he promised.
Like a lurking beast, the past has returned to me.
Will I finally be devoured once and for all?
Swallowed whole
And surrounded by darkness
I can’t but regret the choices I’ve made to get here.
I’m truly the one who came here in the first place.
I’m truly the one to blame.
You are my death sworn enemy
My target of all destructive actions.
Since birth your haunting presence has been following me
Slowly transforming me into what I have become.
“I will kill you”, you whisper. Knowing it’s your only escape from me.
And my only escape, is accepting you.
You are my only friend
The only one who listens
