Ondoy came for a visit!

Thinking it was just an ordinary visit, 

People were just placid.

After a few hours of the visit,

Panic, the people did!

Havoc, Ondoy brought

With plenty of water that it brought.

Water here, water there

Water everywhere!

Ondoy wasn’t leaving, it was still enjoying!

Water came gushing

Everybody was rushing

To keep away from the waters’ pushing!

But alas and alack!

Not everybody was lucky.

Some people were carried away

By the rushing water that came their way!

Finally, Ondoy left!

But what great a destruction he left!

Lives were lost!

Of the rich and the poor and the young and the old!
