Oh, you say that you love me
Won’t you please change the cat box?
I’m not asking for caviar
Or even a helping of excellent lox
Just…
Won’t you please change the cat box?
Somewhere in the universe
I hear there are boxes self-cleaning
Somewhere out there cats flush after themselves
Some even run wild in the world
And bury their business in the tall grass
But oh, my friend, I tell you, ALAS….
This is an ugly cat box!
Yesterday’s news is piled quite high
The stench shouts birds down
Out of the high blue sky!
Oh, please if you love me
Change this ugly cat box!
If you don’t
I’m gonna leave a message in your shoe!
(How’d ja like that now? Yeah!)
