A dedication to my friend, who suffered Multiple Sclerosis.
Torn apart into a million pieces
Blood flowed out and streamed on the ground
Trapped under the rain of needles
So silent and still there’s not a single sound
Fortunate to see the sun for 23 years
To be lightened by the moon each night she sleeps
The smile on her face was never meant to fade
The love in her pith has the unstoppable flame
Engaged to the cursed hospital bed
The laughter she lived for became unseen
Tears that drop were nowhere to be led
From her bleeding eyes that has shattered dreams
She made each rose thrive with hope
The sound of her voice caressed each thorn
A stroke from her brush made everything live
And shine with the stars throughout the night
Never would she be in pain again
Never would she lie on a hospital bed
Killed and murdered by all her sufferings
Yet she wonderfully soars with her colorful wings
