Each day I grow restless , and my sanity escapes.
From my mind to my mouth leaving a bitter sweet taste.
Born to an empire built mainly on lies.
Traveling solo but led by the blind.
Each road that I travel leads to a dead end.
Back stepping through time is becoming a trend.
I’m surrounded by snakes with venomous bites.
Their poison consumes and takes over my life.
The ones that I’ve loved have all disappeared.
They too consumed from the poison that fed off their tears.
We’re left with no future , or hope to grow old.
With only one promise of tags on our toe’s.
I’ve asked god for forgiveness but he too turned his back.
I can’t say that I blame him for innocence I lack.
I cry like the others , and bleed just as well.
Labeled a criminal for living in hell.
I don’t approve of the decisions , and actions I make.
Still in order to survive sometimes I must take.
I’m staring at the devil through the eyes of a child.
Without showing emotions or flashing a smile.
I’m scared to go on for I know what’s to come.
A casket under a tree which blocks out the sun.
Damned to an eternity of darkness , and pain.
With nothing to lose and nothing to gain.
I will not be forgotten I promise you this.
