Love Poetry.
How should you love me? Who am I to say?
You should love me how you will, however you wish.
Let your love run wild, like a free swimming fish.
Everyone’s love is different, so love me in your own way.
Love me when you want, today but not yesterday.
For a day in the past is like a broken dish.
One day its great, finely crafted like Amish.
But broken the next, tossed into the bay,
Never to be enjoyed or used.
And certainly not worthy of anyone’s love.
For it is gone and abused,
Like a lost dog or a dropped glove,
Or a child in a crowd who’s confused.
But In the end, your love is all that counts, when push comes to shove.
