If you can figure out his unconscious plan

Of which acts he’ll do to help his sense of self esteem come through

To do this, will he design a building with a style that’s advanced?

Write a song that no other could enhance?

Create a difficult and exotic dance?

Paint a picture which enthralls all in a trance?

Write a poem full of truth or even romance?

Or will he

Conquer  other egos with a wicked wit and frowns

Threaten to break and beat other people down

Talk in a meeting endlessly as if no other minds were around

Have a thousand sexual escapades where broken hearts abound

Use an abundance of words in which hate can be found

You can learn the true worth of a man

If you can figure out his unconscious plan

By watching which acts he’ll do

To feel the shine of his self esteem coming through

And then you’ll know if he’s worthy of a smile, worthy of time, or worthy of YOU
