On being unique.

Everybody
wants to be
unique;
they don’t want
to be compared.
They don’t want to be
like anyone else;
they don’t even want to be
like themselves.
However,
no matter how they try
they cannot escape the fact
that they cannot be different
from who they are.

Well said, Richie. We are who we are and as we change and grow and have new experiences, good and bad, joyful and painful, we still remain who we are. The idea in life that we can escape from who we are, even temporarily, is a bunch of bull.
