A poem to my granddaughter.

Snuggling on my lap

With a book to be read

You are in your pajamas

And all ready for bed.

My arms encircle you

You are easy to measure

We enjoy a story together

These are moments to treasure.

You are too young to know

You’ll grow away somehow

And I’ll grow older I’m aware

I’ll lock up memories now.

When someone on your lap

Brings a story to share

Unlock your memories

And bring me there.

an awesome poem to your granddaughter, perhaps she will read this one day as she grows into a young adault or even a grandmother herself and her own memories will come rushing back, wonderfull job and your words are smooth :)
