A metallic desert, no cacti, just steel.
A spike, jutting out of a box, ready to break in.
Dull-sharp, unbalanced-heavy.
Lead poisoning on the tongue.
Chiming, rattling, thunk.
Key.
Shiny and scratched.
Inviting, hiding, protecting.
Powerful, preventative, intimidating.
Peace, safety, security.
Lock.
